Burns ordinary paraffin (BS2869C1) Kerosene without a wick which is first converted to gas, and gives an intense clear blue flame.

Boils 4 pints of water in 5 mins.

Fitted with "Roarer" Burners.
Burns in wind and rain, was widely used for camping and picnics pre 1950s.

The working principle of this stove is:
Paraffin Oil is forced through the previously heated Burner Tubes, becomes vaporised during its passage and issues through the small brass nipple in the bottom of the burner, after which it mixes with air, burning with a blue atmospheric flame.
